I came acrss a complete numpty last sunday collecting for disabled people, he stopped me and said with a practised patronising tone you'd like to contribute wouldn't you, as I'm collecting to help you.
Resisting the urge to hit him I told him exactly where the money was going and left without opening my wallet. It seems the council are all too happy to tolerate these chuggers, despite the high number of very visible disabled people and they also seem content to let these guys beg for money on their behalf. I was stunned by his choice of charity as he was not at all comfortable being in my presence the mind boggles.
